Welcome to the artist information page for the Comic Tattoo Village & Piercing Village at FACTS 2026 (powered by INKJUNX). Below you will find all the essential details regarding booth specifications, strict event guidelines, and application processes.

Event details

• Dates: October 31st – November 2nd, 2026 (Halloween Weekend)

• Location: Flanders Expo, Ghent (Belgium)

• Event: FACTS Ghent 

 

Tattoo Artists: Comic & Superhero theme only

The Comic Tattoo Village is an exclusive, thematic zone within FACTS. To maintain the unique atmosphere and high standard of this area, strict design rules apply:

• Theme requirement: ONLY comic, superhero, anime, manga, gaming, Disney, cartoon, and pop-culture-related tattoos are allowed.

• All tattoo styles welcome: Anime, realism, neotraditional, linework, blackwork, color—any style is accepted, as long as the subject matter fits the pop-culture/comic theme!

• Pre-bookings & flash: You are free to pre-book clients before the convention or offer walk-in flash designs during the weekend.

 

Piercers: Piercing Village Guidelines

We are excited to bring back the Piercing Village! To guarantee maximum safety, hygiene, and quality, the piercing zone operates under strict supervision:

• Supervised Zone: All participating piercers will work under the direct guidance and supervision of our Lead Resident Piercer.

• Selection & approval: The Lead piercer holds final authority over artist selection, station setups, hygiene protocols, and offered services.

• High standards: Only certified, experienced piercers working with premium-grade, biocompatible jewelry will be approved.

 

What’s Included in Your Booth?

Each artist spot is fully equipped according to Belgian health & safety regulations:

• Standard booth layout with floor protection

• Working table and regular sitting chairs

• Power supply and lighting

• Needle container, paper, water

Detailed briefing packs regarding build-up times, load-in passes, and parking permits will be emailed to all approved artists prior to the event.

 

How to Apply

Due to limited space (only 85 handpicked tattoo spots available), all applications are reviewed manually to ensure the best curated lineup.

1. Tattoo Artists: Submit your portfolio/Instagram handle demonstrating your comic/pop-culture work via our registration page.

2. Piercers: Register your interest online; your profile and application will be forwarded directly to our Lead piercer for review and approval.

 

Traders & merchandise: FACTS approval required

Are you a vendor selling prints, apparel, collectibles, or tattoo-related merchandise?

• Strict review: All merchandise, vendor booths, and trader applications are managed in close collaboration with the main FACTS organization.

• Approval process: Every trader must be officially reviewed and approved by the FACTS team to ensure all merchandise meets convention guidelines, safety standards, and copyright regulations.

• Prohibited items: Bootleg merchandise, unauthorized artwork, or illegal goods are strictly forbidden.
